In 2006 when I first started training for triathlons I was in search of a tasty recovery drink after a hard workout This is when I came across chocolate milk. Since then I have always used chocolate milk and try to spread the word as best I can about the benefits of chocolate milk for recovery.
A few weeks ago after I signed up for Ironman 70.3 Lima I got in touch with Sunshine Dairy to see if they were interested in partnering up with me and supporting my training and recovery for the road to 70.3. They got back to me right away (thanks!) and told me about a new product that they are working on called Sunshine Power. Sunshine Power is being made specifically as a recovery drink. I was so excited to hear this. We got together and Sunshine brought me some samples. It was all so good!
So far I have used Sunshine Power after a few runs and I feel like it is really giving me my nutrients back in a fast and efficient way. Also its a lot easier to drink than traditional chocolate milk.
